The Second Annual Paeroa Christmas Lights Show......2012
This is a community based project, designed to spread Christmas cheer throughout the Paeroa region, run by Paeroa volunteers.
Since 2009 the Paeroa Maritime Museum and Park has been host to Carols by Candlelight, but in 2011 we decided to take it further, much further.
From Friday 7th December 2012 (same night as the Paeroa Christmas Parade), until Christmas Eve, we open the park to the public to enjoy trees lit up with magical fairy lights and buildings of the Museum will be outlined by amazing lights.
This is the first show in New Zealand, of this scale, that actually has lights dancing to music. The show runs continuously from 8:30 pm till 10 pm, every night, weather permitting.
Come along to this year's show and meander through the Enchanted Forest and watch children frolicking in the snow and bubbles, as music soothes and enriches the soul. This is a great night out not to be missed. There are sure to be some wonderful surprises in store for this years show...
